Overview
Since vegetarian life is fundamental to human survival, people have been studying plant life for a long time ago. Botany and Microbiology, a branch of Biology, is the scientific study of plant life, structure, properties, life processes, classifications, diseases, and environmental impacts and interactions. All of these are included in botanical science at SCU University. The study of plants is important because they are a fundamental part of life on Earth, oxygen, fuel, medicine, and fibers that allow other life forms to exist. Through photosynthesis, they absorb carbon dioxide; a waste product generated by most animals and a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming.
Vision
The department looks forward to being at the forefront of scientific departments through its new and advanced scientific programs to provide scientific and environmental consultations that aim to solve environmental problems and develop the Canal and Sinai region.
The department aims to graduate well-qualified students capable of contributing to the growth of the existing society based on democracy and the ability to make decisions and interact with problems of the surrounding environment.
Mission
The department aims to graduate highly efficient students who can compete in service application fields and are capable of dealing with surrounding problems.
