Community Services and Environmental Affairs Sector is one of the important sectors in the Faculty of Science. The sector interacts with the surrounding community and participates in offering research and training services that contribute in supporting country’s progression journey.
Community Services and Environmental Affairs Sector works on attaining the faculty and university’s strategically plan that is shown in activating the faculty’s role in solving community problems, spreading environmental and cultural awareness about society issues and developing administrative and management hierarchy and enhance performance of faculty’s administrative board. It works on promoting infrastructure of the faculty, security and safety system, human resources and buildings, and supporting self-resources.
The sector implements these goals with the help of the four special units. It offers research and technical services, plus consultative services for community and researchers, inside and outside the University. Training unit participates in enhancing administrative efficiency for academic staff members and employees inside the faculty through providing them with annual trainings.
The graduate unit contributes in following faculty’s graduates and try to support them with training course, in addition to job opportunities. The unit of circumstances and disasters works on following faculty’s infrastructure competence and monitoring security and safety measures.
